A daughter, a kitchen, a quiet idea.
It began without a plan. My daughter, then eighteen, was struggling with skin that no commercial product could quiet. Most were too harsh, too fragranced, or simply did nothing.
After months of research and slow experiments at the kitchen table, I poured my first batch: clays, arrowroot, unrefined butters and a few cold-pressed oils. No aluminium. It worked.
Bael, also called Bilva, has held a sacred place in Indian tradition for centuries. Its fruit, leaves and bark have always been medicine. We simply asked what would happen if we returned to it, slowly.
